Two dragons at the same time?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 6:33 pm

I'm not sure what changes they have been making as they go, but multiple dragons at the same time is a little overkill.

Coming out of Dead Men's Respite, TWO dragons are there. Dragons are becoming more than annoying the more I play, let alone this. The dragon fights are cool and all... don't get me wrong. But too much of anything can easily make a good thing turn to a bad thing.

This is a bad thing.

I had that happen to me the other day, I found it great since I don't have a issue with one dragon but did fall battling two.

I saw Alduin raising a named dragon, he flew away so I killed the newly alive dragon, only to turn around and find a freaking Blood Dragon landing behind me, the fights weren't too bad to be fair, but it was just annoying how long they took

try fighting 2 dragons, 2 sabre cats, 1 cave bear, 3 stormcloaks 1 imperial, a flame atronach, a witch, and hey after all this down to one dragon the game director or whatever decides its a good time to have 3 vaqmpires wandering the road. When fighting dragons its probably a good idea to stay in one spot instead of doing a cross country battle [censored] tends to get out of hand.
if you have expierienced this you know the amount of ridiculous that can be thrown at you if fighting dragons cross country.

Was that near Kynesgrove? There I had my "oh please if only I had a quadruple Bofors now" moment.

Get 2 all the time, considering how easy they are(especially when they land), 2 is always welcome. Also playing on master by the way, 2 ancients might be pretty tough though.

It'd be cool if dragons fought each other whenever more than one showed up.

It's random, a random dragon next to a dragon burial site

Yup, fought two and a dragon priest at Skuldafn before.

Since I've also ended up with two dragons, a sabrecat, a bear and a frost troll. I was running from Winterhold to Aftand and heard a dragon, but kept on running because I cba to fight it, ended up picking up several more enemies the further I ran. Thankfully I shrank my shout recovery for RP purposes, so I was able to survive by spamming my huge collection of potions, poisons and the become ethereal shout.

Yes. A frost and an ancient. I killed them both but it took a long time and many many guards, lol.

Outside of Ivarstead, I was attacked by a Roaming Dragon/Stalking Dragon.

I had 2 Bears, 1 Sabercat when 2 Dragons came at me versus Me and Frost/My Horse.
I ran to get higher ground for the Stalking Dragon, and the one that was actually sitting at the Dragon Roost near Ivarstead was then picked up...
so yea...Its crazy fun though!

heh...2 dragons 1 shout. GIGGIDY GOOOO!

Also had that Dragon Priest Knosis I think his name was near Sheerpoint something pop out of his Coffin when the I think it was a Blood or Elder Dragon came at me...that was hard cause he "Kites" people. He doesn't sit still to swing, so he is tossing exploding Fire Blasts at you (Its an AOE/Splash Fire Ball from a Staff) and has an Aura much like Ancient's Wrath Racial from Dunmer + The Elder or Blood Dragon I had to fight....

that [censored] svcked, I had to reload my game save like 2 times for that fight when I finally realized Knosis can be Line of Sighted.

It's random and has nothing to do with the patches, I have had this back before 1.2 had come out, so... just random luck, had to fight an Elder and Ancient dragon at the same time, still managed to kill them both and to be honest I found it more exciting then just fighting 1 dragon since it's near constant attacks coming at you and you need to focus a lot harder to fight two dragons then one.

I ran into two dragons yesterday, a frost and a blood dragon. I ran like hell from the one, only to run into the other. So with two dragons on my back, I run off at a right angle and smack into a den of Forsworn. Must've been a dozen of those guys who didn't aggro'd to me - they started distracting the dragons. I could handle this, so I turn and fight. Blood dragon down and suddenly the whole lot of Forsworn aggro me! [censored]e! I was right above water, so I jumped. Swam to the other shore, and the Forsworn and the dragon are still after me. I ran across an Imperial outpost - yay! Saved! They attacked the dragon, and the Forsworn attacked them. Then the Forsworn went back to attacking the dragon, and I was able to finish the dragon off with bowshots while it was eating the Forsworn and Legion. Then the Legion cleaned up the Forsworn. One of the Imperials says to me: "You know, we're always looking for a few good men."
