Where to find Boone after Old World Blues? : Fallout: New Vegas

So I just went through Old World Blues, and now I can't find Boone anywhere. I have look in the Dino in Novac and in Vault 22 on level 5 but alas, no Boone.

ED-E had returned to Primm.

This. If he's not there, and not in Novac, then go to a Companion Dismissal Terminal at either the Gun Runner's or in the Lucky 38. Dismiss the companions, wait a while just in case, and then try Novac and the 38 again.

I assume Lucky 38 is a room I get in New Vegas, but at the moment I have not even sat foot inside the city ^^. But I will try to follow your suggestion.

If you've never been the the Lucky 38 he will never be there.

NoVac is your only bet, unless your playing hardcoe and he died on the travel back, possible?
Or he could have glitched and is standing at Black Mountain?

The only thing I could think of is he would be back at his home town location, or standing waiting at what ever entrance that took you to what ever DLC. As far as I know when a companion is dismissed they teleport to there rehire location.

Its been a while since I last took a companion and let them, so maybe they do just disappear to their spawn location/normal hire location. But tghere is a known glitch were NPCs would end up in blank mountain for no reason and just try walking back to their normal location, some die on the way.
I had that happen with Loyal and a one or two more.

Can only be at the lucky 38 or novac at 9pm in the Dino. If he's not there than thats a bug

He can't just appear at the Lucky 38 unless he has been sent there by the PC

dont be inside his motel room with him if he not your companion, for more than 5 minutes lol.
