Dead Thrall Questions

1. Does a revived person equip whatever is in their inventory automatically?

2. By what some other forumites have implied, it seems that when a person revived with Dead Thrall "dies," they do not turn into an Ash Pile. Is this true?

2.5. If this is true, can they be reanimated more than once?

3. If you fast travel, do they "die" when you arrive.

4.Also, do dead bodies other than generic bandits, guards, etc., stay where they are unless inside of a respawning dungeon.

Most of this is so I can reanimate a dead follower and deposit the body in a location so I can come back and revive them when I need them again.

Weapons, not armor.

Yes.

Yes.

No.

They will eventually disappear, like all things. However, Skyrim's clear timer is extraordinarily slow, so unless you leave them for like 10 levels you should be fine.

I need some help here about the Dead Thrall...

Somehow it's bugged in a way that I can't see my Dead Thrall walking with me and it's been like this for more than 10 hours. Usually when you summon 2 Atronachs or another 2 Thralls (Twin Soul perk) then the other one dies then I kill the 2 Atronachs... But I still have the "Reanimate Thrall" in my active effects and townspeople keep telling me "That spell is dangerous, keep your distance" eventhough I havent reanimated "Thralls".

Definitely a bug. I just suffered this one today.
I have 2 Reanimate Thrall spells listed under active effects...Trouble is, I don't have twin souls (yet) nor do I have 'active' reanimations. In a vain attempt to clear them, I managed to raise another person using 'Dread Zombie'...yep, THREE active reanimations without twin souls...then promptly summoned an atrinoch. The dead dude in front of me dusted...yet two reanimate thralls spells remain as active effects...for another 47000+ hours...

Weapons, not armor.

I have been testing this the last few days, and I have found that they will equip armor, but not immediately, and I think they may even only equip certain kinds of armor. I have successfully gotten my thralls to equip the weapons and armor that I have given them multiple times, although with the armor, it usually takes a few cell changes for them to do it.
