Umbra should return in Skyrim

What about The Blade of Woe? Pretty beast weapon in Morrowind at least. I never found it in Oblivion, but though Umbra was a good sword to have its time was up. There's similar weapons to it though, so it's not like Soul Trap has been abandoned from this game.

What Bethesda did, they could undo.

They could, yes. But they won't. Umbra's use and destruction was a key part in the novels, they can't just say it never happened. The effects of the novel are shown in Skyrim, with the Dunmer refugees from Morrowind, after Red Mountain blew up, Umbriel The Ministry fell on Vivec, Mede's taking over of the Empire.

Umbriel didn't fall on Vivec. The Ministry did.

And, Blade of Woe wasn't in Morrowind, it was in Oblivion. You can get it through the DB..just like Oblivion.

Blade of Woe was in Oblivion... You got it on the first Dark Brotherhood mission.

Hell yes it should return. Not including it in Skyrim was a [censored] decision. They should have had a reforge Umbra quest, or ANY quest that resulted in Umbra with any half-assed explanation as to why it came back into existence. It being in Morrowind, Oblivion, and not Skyrim when it's a fan-favourite weapon makes no sense.

Meh, it wasn't even that good of a sword. I always raced for my Dai-Katana with a super enchantment that blew Umbra away.

There are more relevant things than Umbra. Also, I just think it makes Umbra that much more epic as a character, seeing as it is not just a timeless insider joke but a phenomenon with a beginning and an end. An end which, in my opinion, should be final.

I would rather that they introduced some new things than importing everything from the prequels.

Umbra died. Move along.

The Lore is what brings the game to life, cant really just change it cuz people miss the sword.

and golden saints are considered evil. (:

Theres a book in the shivering isles all about the golden saints and dark seducers.
