Fallout wouldn't start in windows 7 (64 bit)

Post » Sat Oct 31, 2009 3:49 pm

Hi, after my HDD crashed, re-installed windows and fallout. Also I upgraded video card to a EVGA GTX 570.
With the latest patch, the game wouldn't even start.
Any support?
Thanks.

Yes, you have to be patient, Bethesda struck again. Meaning they released another patch that broke the game and now we have to wait for them to "fix" it.

I am on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and it works for me. (I can barely play it since the hardware on this laptop is crap) I use it to mod the game and then I convert my save back to 360.

It might be the service pack for W7 since I know of some things it has conflicts with. So try uninstalling SP1 and it should work.
