I don't know if this is a common happening or just a glitch on my own Oblivion install.

I com pleted the the Unfriendly Competiton quest, and after showing the two quest items to Thoromir, I take them to
Jensine to claim my reward, but she doesn't take; all she says is, "Didn't you have something to give me?". If I click on
the space (activate) bar, there's only the original initial set of conversations, nothing new about taking the items. If I
just wait, nothing happens.

Same thing in the Nothing You Can Possess quest. When I bring back the Ayleid carving to Umbacano, the conversation
just goes back to the set of conversations when I left for the quest; there's nothing about, "did you get it?" or anything like that,
that would start the transaction.

So I'm stuck with three quest items in my inventory that the characters that that started the quests won't pick up and pay for.
Is there a way of fixing, maybe through the console (I'm on PC)?

I have tried uninstalling Oblivion, and re-installing (you don't loose anything), but no change. I'm also running Knights of the Nine
and Shivering Isles, so I'm wondering if the problem might be there.

Note that other quests do complete.

Not a biggie, and the payout, whatever it may be, isn't important; it's just annoyimg when you've done everything and it won't
complete, and then to have the (for my character) useless quest items cluttering up the inventory.
