hen I attack a citizen with my lowly dagger i got from the office thingy, the guards are quick to jump. I literally just left town, waited an hour and got ambushed by a guy named Nels and a dark brotherhood guy. he chased me to town, and the guards didnt do anything. I talked to a guard, and said he wanted to stay out of it. What the hell? Some guard you are! I keep dying in two hits because I just have commoner clothes, no fair

Having problems with guards not helping and being chased by the Brotherhood? There's a mod for that.

yeah i'm playing vanilla so maybe that's my problem.
