I stopped caring about the war honestly because I already know whats going to happen. No matter what side wins, the first DLC will be a Thalmor DLC where they clean house.

Without the dragonborn the thalmor would have also obtained the eye of power thing from the college. With that they would have been able to decimate their enemies. Or follow the same fate as the dwemer, who knows.

I think the Empire would have won this slugging match. They simply have resources that the Stormcloaks can't match.

I disagree, the Stormcloak's cause would have given them the advantage they needed. Empire soliders are fighting for a paycheck, Stoamcloak soliders are fighting for their homeland and freedom.

So are Nord soldiers in service to the Legion.

Not all of them though. They are many nords in the legion. They too believe they are fighting for a better future in their homeland.

Regardless, ALL of the stoamcloaks are fighting for a cause. Not ALL of the legion soliders are. Most are fighting because its their job.

That theory is unfounded, the legion due to being stretched thin had to rely heavily on local recruiting in fact if you listen to many of legion patrols, that wander Skyrim, many of them are from Skyrim.

Actually you just don't understand the theory. Regardless that many of the legion may be from Skyrim, they are still just paid soliders. Sure a portion of them may have joined since the start of the civial war to fight the stormcloaks but the majority of them joined prior to the war as a job. The stormcloaks consist of an entire group of soliders who joined because they believe in the cause. A fighter with a cause will always fight harder then one who is paid to fight. If you don't think a group with inferior equipment and resources who are fighting for a cause can defeat an establish well funded and equiped army you need to watch the movie Bravehart.

Why do stormcloaks have least votes?

I'm sure that they would defeat empire, because nords are much better warriors, they are brave unlike imperials which would rather betray their gods than die, nords have blessings unlike imperial which betrayed talos!

And I think stormcloaks would win the war with thalmor because whole tamriel would support them, everyone hates thalmor (at least that's what i think)

And even if somehow empire would defeat stormcloaks they would still lose to thalmor because they would never start a war.

So stormcloaks are the best

You seem to think the only reason that someone would join the Legion is money when I stated this was not the case. Most of the legionnaires fighting in Skyrim are from Skyrim and they are fighting for what they believe in. Also talk to the Legates in the Imperial camps and they'll tell you they are relying on local recruits not their veterans. In none of presented dialogue did the legionnaires say ,"The only reason I'm fighting is for the money", no what they say ," I want to kill some Stormcloaks" or "The Empire is what best for Skyrim". Both sides have an equally said cause to fight for. Stormcloaks for inderpendence and the Empire to persevere against all challenges. While Braveheart is a fun watch I wouldn't go by it for an example due to it being very inaccurate in concerns to history.

The first time I went threw the game I stayed neutral because both sides seemed like a bunch of dike heads.

So I did some research and thought out some situations...

So for the facts:

-Empire and Thalmor are at a stale mate buying time.
-Empire and Thalmor just got out of a war.
-Stormcloaks are a rebellion, not recognized by anyone outside of Skyrim.
-I'm sure there are more obvious ones but this works for now...

So let's play this out... the empire and Thalmor just got out of a war, signed a peace treaty that was kind of jacked up... So some of the Nords of skyrim got pissed off and broke from the empire to fight over mainly Talos. Instead of actually sticking with the empire and just buying time. They want to get but hurt and go attack the ones that's gonna fix the problem in the end!

Not that I like the legion or anything, but it seems to be for the greater good to side with them.
