Jaree-ra

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 5:01 pm

So I've been completing alot of quests on my imperial character, and I came upon Jaree-ra's quest (I won't spoil what it is) Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to imprison him. You can threaten to tell the guards, find a journal telling he is plotting something, AND the official guide says you can turn him into the guards. I'm just a bit peeved because I can't kill him myself (immortal) andthe quest sees to be one sided.

Has anyone found a way to actaully turn him in?

You can do that? Gee, I would rather see him in prison rather than dead as always.

I haven't seen any options to turn him in. and he basically tells you go ahead nobody will believe you...and if you go through with it your at fault and he gets away. so...yeah just another example of one track Quests

No, but I'd speculate that you can do it by talking to the officers in the barracks in Solitude. But I haven't tried it myself.

You kill him as part of the quest, but yeah, would have been nice to have an alternative that didn't have you breaking bad.

question
Spoiler
is this the quest you get in Solitude about hijacking a ship
if that is the case then I wonder
Spoiler
after you sack the ship and find the note that says to kill the player, can you take that note to the guards?

Nope, I just checked. You can't bring it up to any of the guards, or imperials. I also tried Falk Firebeard and Elisif, nothing :banghead:

Yes, that's how it's always ended up for me. My "no" was directed to the OP :)

I'd try the executioner...

Spoiler
He offers a quest to clear out the dungeon Jaree-ra later goes to during the quest, he also comments about how much he'd like to get his hands on Jaree-ra's scrawny little neck to use his executioners axe on

Question, is his axe equipable by the player?

Just beat the [censored] out of him. He's a bipedal alligator for crying out loud.
