So, just re-bought Oblivion for the PC, having a good tie, but I'll go to a bed to level up, select the stats to increase, and when I press "Exit" on the Lv up screen, the game just freezes. Haven't been messing around with the console, no mods installed, my computer can DEFINITELY handle the graphical settings. Help?

Look for these settings in your oblivion.ini, located in My Games\Oblivion:

STrackLevelUpPath=
bTrackLevelUps=0

If there is anything after the = in the first one, delete it. If the second one ISN'T zero, set it to zero.

just depends on those ini settings. Especially if the path to where it wants to track them, doesn't exist. If you see the same thing again, just check those settings. In general though, its fix it once, and forget it. Have fun now!

Hmm, interesting. I've been having a similar issue where on leveling up, the game would hang for about 30 seconds, but then recover and let me continue on my merry way. Looks like I might have found the cause.
