Display question

Briefly perused the forums and release notes and didnt find an answer to my query..

Played the franchise since Daggerfall and was really excited for Skyrim but I didnt buy the game at release because I read about people not being able to change graphic settings, and being completely stonewalled in dimly lit areas...I know some people were making due by tinkering with the ini file but I wanted to stay away at the time.

So I was just wondering, has an update been released yet to fix the inability to change graphic settings for the pc version?

Any feedback is appreciated, thanks in advance.

What? You can change graphics settings on the launcher, the main options are there and you can tweak some things in the game too (and ini files of course).

umm..ya. you could change display settings from day 1 right out of the box. some more 'delicate' tweaks require a bit more tech knowledge (ini tweaks and such) but standard stuff is all available.
