For some reason, everytime I enter third person view, the camera is so close up that when I move I can see through my character. This is incredibly frustrating as I can't figure out how to zoom on my Laptop. My touch pad scroll doesn't work, R changes first person to third person or vice versa. I've tried holding down R and trying to scroll, but that doesn't work either. I can't figure this out. It's going to be incredibly frustrating to play through the game like this.

Check the ingame configuration menu for controls, and see if you can assign the zoom function to different keys.

I changed the "Change View" that was mapped to my scroll wheel to another key and when I pressed it, it just did what R did. Switched me to from first person to third person or vice versa.

So far as I can tell, that behavior is hard coded, and there is no option to change the zoom key(s)..... you would try using an external mouse?

Probably what I'm going to have to do. I really think it's my touchpad scroll that's the problem here.

Sounded like what I needed, I downloaded the first one but for whatever stupid reason, it just didn't do anything at all.

I just realized how much of a problem this really is. It's so incredibly frustrating, and I just don't know what to do. I can only see the back of my characters head in 3RD person view. Maybe one of these 3rd person view mods will fix it, otherwise, It's going to really hurt my fun when playing.
