Daedric Blessings

What do you guys think of being able to obtain "blessings" from the Princes?(whether it comes through a patch, mod, or dlc) I mean, we can already do quests for them and gain their favor, why not pick one to "worship"? It could be something asked near the beginning of the game or you can find someone who asks. It then gives you a list of the Princes and what they represent/do and what you would get for choosing to worship them. Examples:

Hircine

"Hircine is the hunter, he is a basic trait of humanity, prosperity through skill.
Hircine does not just hunt, whenever a goal is relentlessly pursued, that is Hircine."

*worshiping Hircine gives you bonus damage to all woodland creatures(wolves, bears, elk, etc), an increase to bow damage, and a detect life lesser power that can be toggled on and off.

Meridia

"Meridia is the wayward Solar daughter. Banished from Aetherius for consorting with illicit spirits. She has built herself the Oblivion realm of the coloured rooms, presumingly a pale reflection of her former home. She hates the undead with a passion, possibly because of those illicit spirits.
Her sphere is life, and fall from grace."

*worshiping Meridia gives a damage bonus against all undead enemies(vampires, draugr, skeletons, etc), lessens the cost of restoration spells, and grants a greater power to banish all undead below the players level within 20 feet.

So, what do you guys think?

Only blessing from Hircine that I would want is damn lunar transformations. Hear me Bethesda? LUNAR TRANFORMATIONS!

Agreed, being a werewolf needs some more negatives/drawbacks. No longer getting a resting bonus doesn't really affect you if your character never slept in the first place.

A few more examples:

Nocturnal

"Nocturnal is the mistress of night. Mystery, the unseen and ununderstood.
Aquisition through deception, theft.
She is often worshiped by thieves, though she does not ask for followers and does not always acknowledge those that do worship her."

*Those who worship Nocturnal receive bonuses to their sneak, lockpick, and pickpocketing skills. They also seem to be able to hit just the right spot during combat, making them 10% more likely to perform a critical hit, and making that critical hit 5% more powerful.

Mehrunes Dagon

"Dagon is change through destruction. He can no more be described as evil as an earthquake can.
Sometimes the stagnant needs to be eradicated for a new path to bloom."

*Followers of Mehrunes Dagon receive a 5% boost in damage to all attacks, including magic, they also gain a 25% resistance to fire, and the ability to summon a leveled Dremora once a day.

Well, to be fair... Divines gives Blessing while Daedra gives Artifacts.

Nocturnal already has a blessing, making you 10% less likely to be detected while sneaking. I'll avoid spoilers, but you gain access to this from the same quest-line you gain access to her artifact.

In general, you need to balance these against those that already exist: the one's you've written are far too powerful in comparison.

Hircine: a flat 10% bonus damage to beasts is balanced and cool. The bow damage increase and lesser power are excessive.
Meridia: a flat 10% bonus to damage vs undead is sufficient. The restoration cost decrease and daily power are excessive.
Mehrunes Dagon: a flat 5% bonus to all damage is fine. The fire resistance and daily summon are excessive.

Some other ideas:

Boethiah: You deal 10% extra damage when performing a sneak attack.
Clavicus Bile: You can sell stolen goods to any merchant (his sphere is making deals, usually one-sided deals)
Hermaeus Mora: 10% bonus to experience gained (sphere: attainment of forbidden knowledge)
Sanguine: Alcohol (mead, wine, ale, etc) carries an extra effect, slowing time by 25% for 5 seconds when consumed.
Seogorath: Your illusion spells can effect creatures of higher level (his sphere is madness, while illusion magic's effect are very much like inflicting mental illness upon one's foes)
