True Tribal in Fallout 2

Hey all

I'd like to re-play Fallout 2, but this time with a twist.

I just finished watching Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, and i think the tribal kids where pretty amusing; so i'd like to make my next character based on Savanna (the girl who finds Max and then leads the other kids into the desert). Good at throwing weapons, small built, good outdoors(wo)man, idealistic and utterly naive about the world beyond the tribal home.

What sort of Int am i looking at to get her to talk like that? Her speech is somewhat odd since she has never been educated. She isnt smart or wise; but nor is she an idiot, the tribal kids just lack education. I'll probobly have to balance her low Int with decent Charisma so she can still get by friend-wise.

At the same time, is it possible to make a 'stupid' character with lots of options in conversation? I'd enjoy seeing all manner of different reactions to her almost primal mannerisms.

Nope. The cutoff is from 3 to 4, it goes from random gibberish to perfectly normal at that point. There is no sliding scale. I'd say you'd have to go with 4-6. Normal speech but you won't open up any intelligent dialog options.
