What exactly is Anu's role in the religion of Tamriel? There appears to be little doctrine on him. But people worship his counterpart Padomay (in the form of Sithis), and I distinctly remember beggars saying "Blessings of Anu upon thee" in Oblivion. All I know of his worship is that the High Elves believe that Auri-El is the soul of Anuiel, who is the soul of Anu. I interpret this as Anuiel being a sapient manifestation of the cosmic force Anu, similar to Sithis being a manifestation of Padomay. But what does Akatosh represent in relation to Anuiel?
