So I caught vampirism earlier, then proceeded to switch my camera to 3rd person view to see what changes it made to my appearance. And to my surprise, I went from pale skinned to basically Redguard skin tone. I chose the palest skin tone in character creation, so this makes me think that the game can't make my skin any paler (obviously), so it goes darker instead. Has anyone else experienced this? Any workaround for it?

I play in 3rd person view 75% of the time, so this is kinda bothering me. Thanks.

I think it's just what happens when you become a Vampire. You can start off pale with blonde hair and becoming a vampire can change you to darker skin with dark hair (and possible reddish colored eyes). I don't think any race that becomes a vampire is actually of a pale skin tone.

The only time I was a vampire just to see how my character looked. The changes that I saw was pale skin and somewhat redish eyes.

Well I read online that if you're vampire character spends too much time exposed to sunlight that there skin will become darker. I'm not sure how true that is, but even if it is, it wouldn't explain the fact that my char became darker skinned the minute I contracted vampirism without anytime in the sunlight.
