» Fri Dec 16, 2011 8:05 pm its all random so posting where you found something is not gonna help. random is not rare. its stupid. since there is a legal way to get a full set without smithing and using perks at all by just buying some things from vendors just proves HOW stupid this random bs loot system is this time.
just level conjuration up to 90. (takes less than 1 hour by spamming soultrap on dead target) then do the quest for phinis gestor at winterhold and get deadric armor piece for every ebony one you find by just buying the additonal things from ethir. you can also just buy the ebony things aswell since vendors are FLOODED with them once you hit lvl 31+.
random has nothing to do with rare. random is just the way of the super LAZY dev.

Yes they do spawn randomly, but it is still rare to find a piece because it is a low chance for it to spawn.
