Ok, I'm done.

I appreciate both sides of the coin and everyone should be free to voice their opinions, critical or praise.I enjoy reading either if written and discussed maturely.

Isn't whining about whining whining? :bolt:

well...yeah accept that the general concensus is

If you whine about the game, somethings wrong with you.

If you whine about people whining about the game, you're in the right and deserve a medal ALSO if you're told not to whine about whiners, then theres something wrong with the person telling you that as well.

See the backwardsness?

If people didn't care, they wouldn't bother to come on these forums to complain in the first place. They complain BECAUSE they care.

Bingo. And to top it off, it sounds like the OP is grouping all posters that have "negative" things to say about Skyrim as "whiners." Generalizing like that is completely irrational.

Furthermore, I find it a bit disturbing that he wants a separate forum for "complainers." Why are you so mad at others for having a different opinion? Maybe a break from this forum would do you some good.

Honestly, you should stick around. Those of us whom have been here for a while will stick around and continue to help out. The trolls and whiners will eventually give-up and go back to COD and the only ones left will be those of us whom have been around and the forum will go back to normal.

I sure hope so. Would be nice to have a calm, clean thread

You mean like most threads, until someone who doesn't like whats being discussed comes in? :spotted owl: I REALLY should just keep my hide in the Modding and Lore sections.

Like they say, "leave the Bethesda forums optimistic, or stay long enough to see yourself become the whiner." I guess he didn't leave quite soon enough.

The power of Reading™

See how bad its gotten? that even a guy that likes the game is labeled a Whiner about Skyrim, just check out the posts on the first page, the moment you say one supposed negetive thing about Skyrim, Insta labeled. its not the "whiners" that have an issue tbh ;p

So the parts of your post that are whining aren't highlighted, you highlighted the other pointless dribble you wrote. Thanks, you showed me.

This is a forum to discuss Skyrim. Invariably, some on a game discussion forum will be negative about the game. I find it staggering that amount of people that complain about those voicing their opinion on a forum (the purpose of which is to discuss opinions) simply because they are not singing Skyrim's praises to the heavens.

Skyrim is a good game, but it has many flaws, flaws which some either cannot see, have not experienced, or choose to disregard based on some misguided protective action on behalf of Bethesda. Posts like the OP's smacks of attention seeking - these type of posts are, frankly, the ones which should be least welcome on forums, because they offer nothing to debate (no positives or negatives, just complaining about a consumer's right to express dissatisfaction with a product they have purchased for a not insignificant amount of money).

This is a forum. There will be complaints. There will be negativity. It's time some accepted that.

Yes and no.

Whining is not constructive, so just don't read it.

Whining about whining is even more not constructive.

I don't fault the guy for being frustrated about whining, but whining about whining is sort of hypocritical. Just don't read it or bump it by posting about whining. :foodndrink:

good idea...let's have segregation
one forum for the "whiners" and one for the "cheerleaders"

They tried that over at Bioware forums by making spearate general discussion for registered and unregistered users (that is, who had registered DA2). Didn't work, it just added one more thing people whined about :lmao:

Same would happen here, "they are hiding complaint threads in a separate forum to make the game look better!".
