Hey, I am planing on buying Skyrim for my xbox360, but I heard the game has some bugs.. And that you should patch the game with the newest patches.. Im not a member of xbox live, but my xbox is stil connected to the internet, my question is; Can I still download the patches or am i forced to buy gold member ship?
Which means:
i have to pay 60$ for the game + 10$ extra for xbox live...? I hope this is not the case! Im only home for a short duration and to pay extra for an internet server i wont be able to use seems to me a little bit wasted..

No. Gold membership is not required to download patches.

You can still DL patches on 360 without gold. Just need to have the net hooked up. My gold ran out a couple weeks ago but i still patch. buy it, you'll love it.

yeah, like everyone else said you dont need gold to DL patch or buy DLC
