Honey Badger Dragon

Hello,

This is in now way a qq post, I can't get enough of this game. So far in my playthrough, I've only noticed one glaring bug- the dragon for the Jarl's bounty in Windhelm does not respond to anything I do. In fact, I went and got the shout anyway from the word wall, which i though would surely get his attention, but he just continued to fly around in circles...backwards. I wish I had video, this bug was kind of annoying at first, but in the end I thought it was more hilarious than anything else.

Has anyone else noticed this issue, or is it just me?

The immortal lipizzaner dragons are a known issue and Bethesda is currently working on a fix.

Post from the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1315615-help-needed-please/ before the lock:

Yes, mad dragon disease. I did this exact same guy last night, just because I wanted to put him out of his misery. Personally I think it is due to a conflict between the "patrol path" that such dragons do around their home, and their normal combat behavior.

Bugged dragons switch states when they get below a certain health threshold, which can fix some problems. But with mad dragon disease, they will never be able to go to the phase where they land and fight on the ground. Instead they tend to fly off into space, eventually. I think I got this dragon down to his "landing" threshold about four times before he did that.

I then just waited for an hour at his home, and he reappeared from outer space. At that point he was unbugged and I let the nearby giants finish him for me.
