does anyone know where i find the key to saarthal in this quest.?iv been looking in the 2 other locations for it to no avail; PLEASE HELP FELLOW ADVENTURERS

College of winterhold

You have to do the first couple Mages College quests to get in there. Which strikes me as somewhat odd.

I got started on this quest and then also realized that I had to join the mages to get into the last dungeon. At the time I was playing a warrior that hated mages so that quest was left forever on my 'to do' list.

Yup. My thief is on this quest. I had no intention of joining the college originally. I did the other 2 first though, so I feel like I have to finish it now.

There really needs to be another way to do this quest without forcing people to join a faction they did not want to join. Leave a bloody key somewhere for my thief to steal or something. <_< I didn't come across this quest anywhere near the college. I shouldn't have to join it to complete it.

I don't like that you have to join the College to finish this quest either, they should have been more careful with where they placed their side quests. Most of my characters join the guild anyway, as they're using at least some magic, so at least I don't get stuck with this quest in my list, but it would be better if it weren't required to do so.

TO get all the Word Walls, you have to do quests for the Companions, the College, the Dark Brotherhood, and possibly the Thieve's guild. Way to limit our choices...

I found a key in Guilden's Hall (or called something like that) that was part of that questline. I have no idea what it's for.

I already completed College of Winterhelm so can't check and see if it's for that dungeon.

I thought the same but fortunately there is not much sorcery involved!
