Adding Screencap Feature to Console?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 1:51 pm

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, but I was wondering if Bethesda could add a screencap feature to the console version? Battlefield Bad Company (2008) had this feature and it worked great. You held down back button/select then pressed start and it would take a screencap. It was uploaded to their website where you could view it for either deletion or to download it for sharing.

I've heard Bethesda talk about future DLCs not only adding content but making the game "better". Think this would be a cool idea for us console nubs for sharing epic pictures of Skyrim.

I want this. It's been in several PS3 games now. I have used it a lot in DC universe. This game screams for it.

Can't you get a capture card or use a digital camera?

Capture card, ok. But they can be kinda expensive, and some people might not even have the space to install one in their rig.

Digital Cameras, however, svck for this. Taking a picture/video of a TV screen always looks horrible.

Got my vote!

Gears of War 2 did the same exact thing as BC1. You could keep taking as many caps as you want... go to the site and sort em out. Loved it...

This DEFINATELY needs to be added! FOR SURE!

That way I can show off my character in full HD! :D

This would actually be nice, if implemented.
I see no negatives, i.e. taking away from x or x.
It would simply be an unobtrusive-to-others additional tool, and that's usually a good thing.

Bumping one last time for others to see, and hopefully any devs at Bethesda, too.

It's got my vote! Annoys me when I see all these 'show us your character/stuff' threads and I can't show mine. :sadvaultboy:
