And show us your characters :wink_smile: I'm planning on making a Dunmer soon because I've never played one but always found them extremely awesome. I wanna see what people got going on.

My favourite character in Oblivion was a Dunmer assassin, and it's a poplar build that has a lot of support on Skyrim. They make excellent arcane assassins, and they look baddass. :)

I've never really liked being an Elf. I've always preferred being human. I still love Dunmer though.

I would definitely recommend Dunmer if you want to use a bit of magic. My Nightblade uses Illusion, Alteration, and Conjuration (really only for the Bound Swords plus a Bound Dagger mod I installed for assassinations). He's also full in Sneak now, 85 or so in One Handed, and getting better at Alchemy now for homemade poisions. He's in the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood as well as the College.

Sneak assassinations are his specialty for dispatching enemies. He's like Dunmer Batman if Batman was a cutthroat assassin and had magic :D.

I made a female dunmer and have been using that as a main char lately. Uses archery and restoration, but she decided to dabble in Conjuration as well. Conjuration comes in handy. What's better than killing a guy, rezzing him, turn him loose on his friends, and you fall back to heal?

Here's one. Two-handed warrior plus conjuration and restoration, won't even consider sneaking (unless its to totally avoid a bunch of mages or something.) I'm trying to do most of the combat hit-and-run style with critical charges, and every time I do it I think "samurai duel," kind of hoping someone comes out with a big two-handed version of the Blade's sword some time soon.
