IMO the ban on Talos is right. How can a mere man become a God.

Oh you mean like Jesus of the Christian belief?

I'm not going to delve ANY deeper, lest people rage, but...

The Jesus concept is entirely different. Tiber was born a man, was never anything more at birth.

Belief is one thing. Fact is another.

Let's try to ignore actual religious debates here, facts are things that are proven whereas Christianity prides itself on faith where faith to begin with is unproven and thus not the same thing as fact. You actually work to undermine a part of Christian belief by asserting it as fact in this way. Also all you'll do with assertive statements that you can not prove is start a flame war which is not needed, you're welcome to believe what you want, not everybody has to agree with you and certainly many do not.

You see that's what you'd call a bad example, Muslims believe in Jesus too you know but they call him Isa, there are a few differences between Muslims and Christians over the the belief in Jesus but needless to say Muslims will not ban him. A better example maybe that of Christians making Pagan worship illegal in Imperial Rome about 1,700 years ago. One example could be Mithras, a Pagan sun god who was heralded by many as a savior of man before Christianity even existed.

I would pick Ysgramor, we met him and he seems okay.

Talos, all we have is his legend to go by. Meeting him in game I am sure he would be flawed like many characters, having aspects we love and despise. Using Ulfric as an example, if he won the war he would go down in legend as the saviour of Skyrim and perhaps the Empire. Fame and legend would loose the tyrannical self serving aspect of his nature, who is to say Talos is really what the legends depict? I would still pick Ysgramor, as I said he seems okay.

The old man with the lucky coin I remember him, vaguely. I will still side with Ysgramor though.
