I've used it for broken quests and places where you get stuck (Invincible wall, or underground where there's no texture at all). I've also visited the developers testing area, as there are some clothings that you just cannot get in the game. i.e un enchanted mage clothing, and red ali'kir hood <3

I change always change the FOV and generally tweak my character's size, skills and racials at the start of the game to make them how I want them to be. Sure, it's cheating, but who cares?

I've only used it for giving vendors more gold to barter with. No need to annoy myself by having to go to sleep for 24 hours each time

Once you use the console to edit your character, you can never say you beat the game honorable, you cheated, and it takes away all the glory and self satisfaction of having beaten the game within its own system of rules.

Gee. I hadn't realized that having my character become a red-head instead of a blonde really made me a cheat. (Of course if Beth had allowed some sort of "beauty parlor option" in-game it wouldn't be a necessity.) Likewise turning off the stupid grass so my game doesn't slow down to a crawl, and using tcl to get out of a pile of boulders that she should be able to climb up, but can't because the game engine doesn't support it is something only the blackest-hearted dastard would do. (On that last one it is, of course, equally dishonorable to use fast travel, so I guess she's stuck there forever.)
