Possible DLC? Isle of Artaeum

Post » Sat Dec 17, 2011 4:22 am

I read a very vivid description in a book about the Isle of Artaeum, home to the Psijic Order. Anyone who has done the Mage's College questline is familiar with them (and please, no spoilers for those like myself who have not completed that questline yet!). But as I was reading the description of the island in this book, it seemed to me like they were describing a future DLC plan. I don't know why, but that was the first hunch I got. Like, "hey wait a minute. They are going to make this DLC! Why else would we be getting this vivid description of the layout of the island?" It just seemed like Bethesda used the book to drop a hint about their DLC. I'm probably way off, I know. They probably vividly described the island just to make for an interesting read about it. But the potential for a DLC on the Isle of Artaeum is there, because I'm sure they could create quite a bit of content centered around the Psijic Order. Although I'm not sure what else there would be to see on the island...

Thoughts? Anyone else read this book?

The book you are referring to, Fragment: On Artaeum, has been around since Daggerfall. I don't find that likely.

Ahhh...thanks for clearing that up. I had no idea. Well there goes that idea :) . Is there any other current hints out there about possible DLC? I can't wait to see what they have planned.

There is no real hint usually. There was no hint for bloodmoon, though some people may have guessed something about tribunal from what Azura says.

There was no hint for SI certainly, and also no hint for KOTN.

Beth doesn't hint at DLC. It's always far removed from the main area.
