It would be nice not to be treated like a common criminal for killing angry wild animals. I look at my assaults and think by the nine (yeah that's right, nine divines), this is why all hunters live on their own in the wilderness. They have large bounties for killing animals. But as I type this I have a theory why killing an animal is classed as an assault. Maybe the Jarl owns the land and everything on it? So assaulting the land is assaulting the Jarl him / herself, a bit like the Queen and swans. But how do they know? does a sneaky tree frog bounce away to his union rep and complain to a short, fat, bald angry union rep called Bob C.

This would have been a nice fix, here's hoping.

Hunting a deer on the kings land is punishable by death. Haven't you ever seen "Robin Hood: Men in Tights"?
But yes, it is a bit silly. Call it destruction of property of something like that.

Healing a Vigilant of Stendarr is also assault, and they won't accept a yield. S'ok though, now I just watch them die, then kill whatever they were fighting and loot them too.

Take pride in the corpses, rather than the statistics page.

The stats panel is not judging you. Don't take it personally.

If you speak to the hunters they tell you they are poaching animals on the jarls land.

And don't kill the bunny rabbits! Bethesda keeps a tab on that and you will be penalised with the bunny killer curse if you persist!

I killed a chicken, gained 40 bounty and ended up wiping out the poor folks in KynesGrove.

Funny how things turn out aint it?
