How convenient do you find these spells? I have 100 destruction and I did the element of powers quest, I have lots of mana to use them, but even if I start a fight with them, they just kind of seem like a death trap to me. (I can't imagine what they would be like in the middle of a fight you weren't expecting to take place). I start from a reasonable distance and cast firestorm on a giant, then I switch to lightning storm and try to cast it, but it takes so long to conjure up that I get sent to the sky by a giant, (even if I shout run away from them) I'm not asking how to better use these spells against giants per se. I'm just asking what do you think about these spells as a caster and how do you use them? Do you find them convenient or more of a burden? Not to mention they seems kind of stupid if you are not completely by yourself, they just harm/kill you horse of your follower.
