Skyrim needs a Arena

I really enjoyed it in Oblivion, and I honestly think it fits the culture of the Nords. You could have the companions sponsor it.

They completely dropped the ball with this. Doesn't surprise me, TES is a shell of its former self.

I agree. It needs one. I also enjoyed it in Oblivion and Morrowind now it needs to be in Skyrim, too.

i loved the arena! it was on of the first guilds i mastered. it was always fun fighting different attackers with different skills. not to mention fighting 2 minotaur lords when you were the champ. btw where are minotaurs in skyrim? did they die out?

I miss the arena, but it does fit better in a game set in Cyrodiil (Romanesque) than Skyrim (Scandinaviaesque). To my knowledge, Scandinavia didn't have arenas, not like they did in Rome at least.

ya no arena is

i don't think it should be an arena like oblivion(roman type). should be more of a smaller dirt pit surrounded by wooden fort looking walls or something.

small one in each city instead of one giant one.

This is Nirn, not Earth. In lore, Skyrim has Gladiatorial teams. How the [censored] are you going to have gladiators without an Arena?

The Arena is more Roman like the Imperials but the Vikings did have fighting competitions. Mostly Hand to Hand stuff. They do incorporate a little of that in Jorvaskr when you first go in, and also the ability to brawl with people in taverns kinda like that NPC you have to win a brawl with to get. Maybe in a future DLC they will add it, and maybe, just maybe a Hand-to-Hand skill tree?
