creating dovahkiin

Post » Sat Dec 17, 2011 4:04 am

I know that i must have tried many many times to create dovahkiin but they just made it so hard on us. I was just wondering if any of you were successful in creating a character that looked like dovahkiin, or you you just gave up and ended up creating a character with a beard to cover most of his face? also you are welcome to share a female version if you think that you have a good one. I just think that it's impossible but i would be delighted to be proven wrong.

The Debut character model. You know Nord, Iron Armor, Rugged fella?

I haven't tried to make Him, but I do have a save that's all Iron armor that's upgraded past daedric, just to keep the rustic look.

yes, this is what i was referring to, i think the closest i got was with a nord but options are so limited that there was only so much that i could do with it and was never really satisfied with my creation. I even tried to make him like the one that comes up in the gameplay trailers but i don't think that some of the facial features were added to the game.

The best Dovahkiin to create is a Khajiit. The larger he is, the more he's able to use Skyrim as his personal Dovahkiin litter box.

The eyes and mouth are definitely in the game, I forget which numbers they are. Keep messing with it til you get it. It's more than picking the right mouth/eyes though, you have to get eyeliner/lip colour and stuff correct before it looks right.

And yep I've made the Dovahkiin from the trailers, seemed like a natural choice to me, maybe I lack originality ha! But it's my main save, and lots of fun.

All you have to do is put weight at max, get the facial hair right, and the skin and hair color.

He doesn't have a face, just the helemt.

thanks for the advice, and to tell you the truth you can make anything look like dovahkiin with that iron helmet, but i always imagined him with a different nose than the options that we are given, well to bad.

Sorry nope, playing on 360.

Btw I would avoid putting the weight all the way up, he's hench but not that hench. Another thing I forgot to mention is that the reason his face looks different, is because that part of the trailer his face is animated specially for that scene, which makes him look quite different.

yup, i just wanted to see if anyone had been able to make him look like him without the mask. but i guess what makes dovahkiin so great is the mystery of the mask, kind of like batman.

really if you're wearing the helmet all you need to copy is the mouth, chin, and possible nose. He could look like anything under that helmet.
