To patch, or not to patch (1.3)?

No matter. Better to be safe, than sorry. My vote is cast. Just downloaded the patch. I hope I don't regret this...

I've not had any problems on the xbox and my resistance and backwards dragons seem to be fine now.

My resist is fixed now, but I never once saw a backwards flying dragon on my game. Maybe not all but I think some people who get freezing problems should clear cache more often. It has helped the lock up problem for me.

1.3 is working fine for me on 360. My magic resistance is fine, no backwards dragons or dragon soul issues and the textures are a lot better, not that I'm too bothered about textures.

And if you had the ability to read you would know that 1.3 doesn't fix anything but the mess 1.2 caused.

I have no idea if the shelf glitch exists in my game because I haven't tested it yet.

My question is, the did bookshelf glitch / bug always exist? Or did on of the patches CAUSE it to start happening?

I prefer playing patch free. But if there is going to be bookshelf issues, then I want to get patch 1.3.

I can answer that. I hadn't installed any patch for about a week after I got Skyrim as I hadn't plugged the net cable in and the shelf bug was present so yes it was always present. If still need confirmation, clear the patches and start a new game and you will see.

Of course I will do that. I love all of you people, here. I will report back regularly with my observations. I have a pretty good feeling about this patch. I really believe that things are going to improve with Skyrim here on out. Here's to hoping..

That is what I thought! Thank you so much for replying on this. The new patch is downloaded. Let's hope it really has been fixed as the patch notes claim.
