I do not suspect that what follows is a spoiler.

I brought Uthgerd the Unbroken into Ustengrav to help me with retrieving the Horn of something or another during the early part of the main quest. There is a section where the floor is trapped so that certain tiles cause flames to shoot up your nether parts if you step on them. Uthgerd decided to stand still on the fire trap while she lined up an arrow shot, and she took a knee. The thing is... she won't stand up now. She just stays there, on her knee with flames pouring over her.

I wanted to walk to the next room on my own first so I had told her to wait. She's not dying... but she's not getting up. I've completed the quest because, what the hell else can I do, right? I'm just wondering that since she's technically still alive (an odd turn of phrase) will she reappear a few days later at the Bannered Mare? Or has Uthgerd been broken?

Trying bashing her with a weapon or shield. It should stagger her and make her reset to standing.

Have you tried healing hands? It might allow her to heal enough to move off the trap. /shrug

Could also try Unrelenting Force. Fus Ro Dah might kill her, but Fus or maybe Fus Ro might be enough to move her off without killing her.
