2.) I donned them and re-engaged him for trade. His gold jumped to 3415. I repeated this process out of curiosity. I got the same result every time.

I don't want to post spoiler specifics on the items, but I can find nowhere that mentions this should be happening. Is it intentional, or a glitch?
