I am restarting Skyrim again. I am wondering if we get to see Hadvar and Rolof again? I tried the begining with both of them. I like Hadvar, he seems like a really nice person. In another game I went with Rolof so I had a chance to kill the Imperial Captian and to my glee, I was able to do that. I even kept her helmet as a token, (want to kill me even if it's a mistake eh?)

Thing is I like both guys. So starting my new game, I am not sure who to go with this time. I know it doesn't make a difference, but I like to know if we get to meet up with Hadvar and Rolof later. If we do, will you still be able to be their friends even if you go with the other guy?

So I am curious if we get to meet up with them again. Please no spoilers, except if we get to see and interact with them again later and if we do, does the choice we make who we go with matter then or not.

Yes, you see them later if you do certain questlines.

you meet Hadvar if you join the legion
you meet Rolaf if you join the Stormcloak rebellion

it would be funny the other way around

it's determined by which faction you join. If you join the Legion, you'll do missions with Hadvar. If you join the Stormcloaks, you'll do missions with Ralof. As far as I know, upon joining a faction the character from the opposite faction just disappears. I've certainly never seen them again.
