for real though, has this happened to anyone else?? I had it happen once after the final Companions quest when I got back he was dead, and now after leaving whiterun at level 40 and not returning until level 51, about 3 days real time ( i was busy questing and exploring, never thought to go back since i got Proudspire Manor Home in Solitude. ) I go to sell something to the chick blacksmith and she feeds me that usual im not as good as Eorlund line, but now she says he's dead and she only want's a chance to be the best or some rubbish. Point is, what the hell happened?? His burial urn is in the Hall of the Dead and you can loot it for all his belonging's, you can also use the glitch to go under Whiterun and you will find his body under the Skyforge, yet not in the Underforge. I find myself strangely saddened by his death as it was nice to have 3 blacksmiths to sell and buy from. And to occasionally use the glitch to loot the inventory chest under the Skyforge. But no longer. Has anyone else had this randomly happen to them too? Im still deciding if it is worth losing all the game time to reload an old save just to get him back?? Please let me know what you did!
