found a rare metal vein in blackreach : V

i've forgotten it's name, but in blackreach among the floating mushrooms there's a super rare vein. im 100 smithing so i dont carry a pickaxe anymore.

whats this metal used for?

Can you describe the color of it at all? Yellow-orange? Brown? Silver? Blackish?

i think its blue but its hard to tell in blackreach

I think it's to mine soulgems, but when I tried mining it all I got was some lousy Corundum ore.
