The truth of why I do not like the Stormcloaks.

So, you want to know why I do not like the Storm cloaks and refuse to ever side with them even when the Imperial Legion tries to cut my head off?

It is fairly simple really.

Raylof. He ruined it ALL for me.

Why? Because he will not stop talking on the wagon ride into Helgen. You are telling me, I get captured, bound, and thrown into a wagon heading to a distant town I've never heard of to either A.) be tossed in jail or B.) be executed and I get sat across from the most talkative Nord in ALL of SKYRIM?
You can't just lemme sit here in peace and enjoy what might possibly be the last wagon ride I will ever have? You have to F'ing ask about everyone's life stories, tell everyone your every little mundane observation, learn where everyone is from, where they live, what their name is, what their sixuality is...

IT is tiring. The first play through was tolerable, but now, I cannot stand that big mouthed Blondie.

Once I was being sentenced to the block I realized something, the Imperials weren't trying to kill me, they were saving me, from that rambling idiot Raylof. In all honestly I expected a guard to walk over and slap him to shut him up, but nooooooo, we gotta let him say whatever little whimsical thought he has out loud.

To this day, I have never played a Nord. Honestly, never done it. Don't want to, why? Because the default appearance of the Nord is, guess. Just who it looks like. You know it. IT. LOOKS. LIKE. RAYLOF.
So what? Is he considered to be the Paragon of Nords or something? Is he their role model? Do Nord children grow up hoping that one day they will ride to their deaths just to annoy the hell out of all those present?

When Hadvar asks me who I am and it shows my default Nord appearance I say in my head,"Oh, I'm Raylof 2." EVERY TIME.

So now, even when I am curious I cannot bring myself to side with the Storm cloaks, because if I do I will just be helping that loud mouthed moron.

Much Hadvar love, wish he could be companion.

IMO Ralof is meant to be one of the key reasons to join the Stormcloaks. Beth. give you someone to just ramble slightly to save you from a boring cart journey to your execution and to make the poor rebel Stormcloaks seem nice people.
That is of course until you see their persecution.

His name is Ralof. There's no "y."

I also do not share your feelings at all whatsoever. Ralof is one of my favorite characters in the game. You hate him just because he was friendly and trying to comfort people before they died?
