My wife bought me Crysis 2 Limited Edition at Game Stop for Christmas. I've been busy and just opened it up for the first time yesterday. Brand new game. My wife cut the plastic seal while I watched, and inside were 2 items and NOTHING else. The game CD and a single sheet of paper with a bold title "TO DOWNLOAD LIMITED EDITION CONTENT: and "visit myrysis.com/limitededition" for details on how to access your Limited Edition content." No manual. No "jeweled case." No Serial Number.
There is a Prepaid Code. 4 blocks of letters and numbers separated by hyphens. It is not called a "serial number." I downloaded the game and did all the Origin BS, and then when I tried to play the game, it told me I needed a "serial number." I tried entering the "Prepaid Code" but that came back as invalid. So what should a legal law-abiding citizen do? After breaking the seal, there is no way gamestop is taking this back. Any advice? This disk is an awfully expensive coaster.
