"For the Republic, Part 2" Mission bugs. : Fallout: New Vegas

Hello.
I found a bug in the mission called "For the Republic, Part 2".
There's a part in the mission, that you need to go to the Elder, tell him that you got everything you needed from the Vaults, and then you go to the High Paladin, and you then tell him what the Elder have done, he then say that he now found a way to take the correct Elder down, and he will be the new Elder. he tells me to come back in few days.
Iv'e skipped now like, one week and I came back inside and nothing changed, they always said the same setence and no diaglog chat or w/e opened.
I have this bug in the PS3 copy, anyone else is having that bug/knows a way how to complete it?

Bump. Please respond if you have any idea how to fix this bug or w/e, because I literaly can't continue to play the game!

You know i did this quest and it has been several days for me.I need to check up on this.

This is a bug in the quest. You are intended to either tell the elder you fixed the filtration system, OR tell Hardin about the Elders work. I ran into this issue as well. It svcked until i found this on fallout.wikia.com. This fix only works on the PC version as it uses console commands.

To fix the error state, you will need to open the console and reset the quest with the following two lines (WARNING - using the console will disable Steam achievements. You will need to exit and restart the game to re-enable them.):

resetquest 0015d79d
setstage 0015d79d 100

You have any idea if the new patch for the PS3 will fix this bug? and maybe when it will come out?
