BOOMIJUSTSHOTYOU CRYTEK PATCH OFFER

Post » Sat Mar 31, 2012 3:17 pm

Well I've been back about a week and since you decided to take some action let me take this time to offer a challenge. So, you don't think there needs to be a patch huh? You think the game glitches, orbit lags, and most importantly cheaters and hacker problems are all contained? Here's my challenge.

I challenge you to announce a patch release with a solid date fixing EVERY SINGLE ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN WELL DOCUMENTED HERE FOR MONTHS. If you do well then you are a stand up company who stands to gain support of its fan base, make more money, and generally have chosen to do the right thing. If you do this people like myself will be gone. If you don't do this some things will happen.

1. I'm going to pull the chain on every hack I use at an unprecedented level.
2. I will start freely distributing the hacks I use everywhere.
3. and well I'll never go away or at least until I have lost all hope on you.

People here took the polite petition route and you ignored them. .

Don't make me lose hope on you Crytek.............

Oh cmon man it's obviously not going to happen so stop going on about it.

Members of the community are currently working on fixes as we speak, just let us do what we can maybe we can fix some problems, we've done everything else without the support of Crytek.

So according to this, the game will die. Sure, there's community work on patches but they're always horrible and used by but a fraction of the gamers.

I think it's more likely that you'll do nothing because I don't think you really want this game to die like this. At least, I hope not.

If people really want to make Crytek look bad and force them to remedy something, bring all the problems to the public. Twitter, facebook, etc. Spamming the huge fix-list would be a major embarrassment to them for sure.

So, basically, if Crytek doesn't make a patch, you will ruin the game for players that play it? You act like you represent the community but you will only destroy it when you start to cheat.
If you really want to help you should do the things @Crazyfist said.

Infact, why don't we do it?

Hackers and gamers alike, what will Crytek do then?

I know but cmon man has there REALLY been any improvement since like August? If you guys have stuff in the works that are a definite reality then I can accept that. But WHAT THE FUK Crytek, the only time you returned to life really in months was to ban me for hacking? Pathetic. Fix your game, you know the one that everyone here has been pleading with you to fix.....

Well I have been in contact with Crydev modders trying to get a patch/mod up and running, perhaps you will all see a big announcement on this project in the next few weeks, I hope you all just chill out and enjoy what will be arriving in the next few days.

Some people don't just give up on a game they love, they work to make it better for others, hacking is not the way to go.

But what svcks for hackers is not one of us working hard on community projects will let hackers have anything to do with these updates so please, choose which side you are on wisely.

We all want the patch, but cheating won't force them to make a patch!
If you really want a patch, you should spam their FB, Twitter, EA support or send messages to EA leaders.

I can get on board with that. CryTom please go talk to your superiors and get some permission to post some kind of acknowledgement that you even hear anyone, hackers and leg its alike. I don't wanna destroy the game for anyone but I would like to kick Crytek in the balls atm. Reiterating a cheat reporting thread, pathetic....

We won't be able to through Cry-Tom. He is just a forum moderator, he doesn't have any real say in anything. Blaming or pressuring him won't get us anywhere.

But I mean come on. We've all seen Cryteks facebook updates about being in some finals on some dev competition.. that all looks glorious but they've completely forgotten that they dun goof'd with C2, and that there are a bunch of screaming Crysis freaks out there, unhappy, and thirsting for blood.

Wonder what their response would be if their walls and feeds were packed with people telling them to fix their damn game before caring about some stupid competition.

Crytek making a patch(which won't happen) is what can revive this game. A crydev glued together patch advertised by people that care more about their own ego than the actual patch will only split the community between those that use the MOD(patch), and those that don't, or don't know about it. Or just don't care.

Wow you really want to be one of those people commenting on every Crytek status update saying "Crysis 2 svcks!"? Damn those people fail at life.

Also f*ck you crazy fist. I've been trying for months to get this patch happening, I want a patch too y'know so I can enjoy the game better. I even started my top 5 series again to keep the game alive for just that little bit longer needed. I don't see you doing sh*t for this game, all you do is troll people and act like a douchebag.

Actually Cry-Tom is the Lead Community Manager at Crytek, but he probably can't force the developers to make a new patch. I think that Cry-Tom responded to SDub and said that he already asked for a new patch...

Oh and did you know it was actually the work of a community member who prompted that new thread about reporting cheaters? At least try and help the rest of us instead of just trolling.

Well what is the real issue? For me the issue is WHY? The head in the sand routine is so lame....

The real issue? It's that Crytek made one of the best games ever, but left it half finished. It's like a 0.8 version at the moment. And that they don't care to remedy the situation. If I wasn't getting high today I'd start by spamming their facebook and twitter with complaints, prolly gonna make a thread about it tomorrow. Don't give a sh!t if I'm the only one complaining publicly, atleast someone will read it.

But remarkably, this half-assed MASTERPIECE is still kicking. Tons of servers full, a lot to shoot at.

And boomsykins? I know how you feel about wanting to destroy everything and force Crytek to fix it. But if there ever was a time for super-drastic action like that, it was on the first 2 weeks after launch, when they were actually watching.

Hacking, as fun as it may be, won't get us anywhere.

And TS, in practice he's a mod. He's PMd me too about trying to talk to them, but realistically there isn't anything for him to do.

They should have paid more attention. Look at the beta release. Everyone was saying oh just wait until we fully implement anti-cheat. I mean damn, a release of this cslibur shouldn't be susceptible to basic MEMORY PATCHES IN MP 1 year later let alone actual game bugs and bizarre dlc marketing. The people I respect here say back off and for me thats enough (although I'm not going anywhere) . It's certainly not out of respect for Crytek.

Most likely, but not in any server you frequent and for not much longer. I gotta get back to legit play as my tracking has already taken a huge hit.......
