' period. Also going from hrv to weapon is very sluggish and at times unresponsive. Also this nifty concept has lead to more times than not someone hiding around a corner waiting for you because they saw you coming. Which brings me back to the prone issue. What's the point in having prone? It would be suicide to camp, and I promise you'll be dead before you attempt a drop shot. You die stupid quick in Blacklight. That is when the hit detection works. In the graphics category I would say it is a toss up. It pretty much lands on your taste. Personally I think Blacklight spanks warface in graphics. Especially since Blacklight has dx11 support and warface does not....yet? Also the attention to detail is a lot higher in blacklight. The shadows, the light, and not to mention the use of Bokeh depth of field. It all adds up to what I would say is a very atmospheric setting. I really can't say enough about how good the game looks for a free to play or for any game for that matter. It can actually be a system hog, it's recommended requirements call for a quad core and 4 gigs of ram! I feel like with warface they could have done more with the engine. They could have included some kind of dx11 support or higher res textures. In the sound category it's a mixed bag. Blacklight has more kick ass music but the guns sound better in warface so take your pic there. Also I noticed a few issues still with warface with audio popping in and out but it could just be my sound card. Blacklight does more to set the mood in game than warface but when I'm fragging some one I'm not paying much attention the music. In the weapons category Blacklight makes warface look like an Ethiopian child. There is a sick amount of customization to be had in blacklight. Now granted you can't switch up attachments on the fly like in warface which I prefer over having several loadouts. In blacklight you can customize every square inch of your gun. From the muzzle to the stock, you can even put personalized keychains on your gun. As well as camo. One feature of warface that I have to call foul on is the fact that even though you just unlocked a **** ton a goodies each gun in the game only takes advantage of maybe a handful of them and you won't know which ones till you buy the gun. I still have a kick ass reflex sight but can't find the gun it works with....yet! In the connection category, I can not comment yet as I am playing warface on servers in Russia and blacklight is here in America. But even though it's close to home Blacklight does still have issues with hit detection and noticeable lag when there are a lot of people online. Game modes are pretty much the same with both, you have your standard team death match, free for all, and objective based modes. Nothing new there except warface also has a co-op mode which I have been playing the **** out of. The warface co-op is a story driven multiplayer where you have to rely on your team mates to survive. I think crytek really knocked it out of the park with this mode. It's fun and challenging. In the end I have to go with warface just because I have a better time on there, I'm hoping they don't abandon the game too soon and continue to patch and release maps for it. But if you can get past what I've said about Blacklight's gameplay then perfect world entertainment is a safe bet as they have an excellent track record with their game support. So I guess it's up to you. I apologize if I sounded bias.
