TES VI Idea: Tamriel Industrial Revolution

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 11:07 am

What I would like to see in the next TES game would be an Industrial Revolution era, sort of what Fable III tried to do. This era would have primitive firearms, such as flintlock pistols and rifles.

What do you guys think? Do you like the idea? Could Bethesda pull it off?

Well, at the risk of sounding rude, I would hate that. Haaaaate. I like my fantasy fantastical. The Dwemer steam-punkish stuff is all the mechanical/technology stuff I want in my Elder Scrolls.

The industrial revolution was 300 years after the wide use of primitive guns, but no matter. I would not be in favor of a shift like this for the series.

Im afriad the closest thing to technology that I would accept in TES is Dwemner technology. Anything beyond that is a dealbreaker for me.

Regardless of the idea, your post belongs in this thread here for ideas of any kind for TES VI:
