Why does the game crush at least twice each hour?

Post » Sun Nov 08, 2009 10:38 pm

I bought Fallout: New Vegas few days ago and i wish i didn't
the game screen every minute and crush every hour
after 4 hours playing in total i had to restart the playstation 13 times
and now i don't have enough patience to continue playing......

i also checked some other website including IGN and it is not my problem only plenty of other players suffered enough
and my advice do buy it if you have diabetes or high pressure >>>>>> :(

Do you play with the in-game radio on? If you do, shut it off and try that.

I installed the patch yesterday and have played without any screen freeze or major glitch , I have had a few floating tin cans, Not to bad. We must remember that we wanted a game with that FO3 look and feel and I think thats what we got. I don't understand why some of us have hardly any problems and some can not even play there game, there must be a reason?

Are you implying it's our fault? Because a lot of people are experiencing issues like this. It's a bit solipsistic to assume there isn't a major bug problem just because you haven't experienced these issues. As soon as I patched the game, weird electric garbage kept appearing in the Wasteland. And my system crashes every 1-3 hours. I hope sales suffer because of this. It's the only way to get a corporation to listen to us.

Judging from how Fallout 3 ended up years later after what fixes they did make with that, I wouldn't get hopes too high about a major fix to stop FPS problems and the pauses every 15 yards while walking. Same goes for picking up items off a table and shelf that appear to have the gravitational of the moon; and then the floating rocks, tin cans, etc. I still see all of these things on F3, a game that was less buggy than NV was upon release.

No , all I am saying is there is a reason some have problems and some don't, this happens with other games as well. we may never know the answer , but so far I am haveing less problems with FONV than I had with FO3 , Why???????

Sorry but no. It's the game.
The only thing I can't stand its the crashes. I already needed to restart my system 7-8 times already in 54 or so hours into the game (two different save files.) Other than that I'm okay with the game. I love it so far.
