Only Fallout game I haven't played, can't wait to go "BOOMFATMANBOOMBANGNUKESOJSDOPJADOA" on the super mutants. Is it a good game?

Not as good as New Vegas, but you'll have fun.

It's an amazing game, you'll have a blast. Money well spent. A little bit of old fashioned RP and it's as good as any game. :) Have fun and let us know how you get on!

If you're getting it on PC, you should look into getting some mods once you've played around with it for a while. They add a whole lot more life to the game.

Tried PC, my computer couldn't run it, can run FO:NV on ultra settings though.

So I have to get it on console, but oh well. And I'm not a noob to Fallout, I've played all the games EXCEPT fallout 3, so I know mods about the mods.

Anyways, I'm going to get some sleep, then play it :D

I just got to the Jefferson Memorial, I'm at the part where the Enclave arrives.

It's a great game, I know why it was crowned GOTY now :)

Honestly, imo, it doesn't fit the Fallout canon and lore like Fallout:NV, FO1, FO2 did. For their first attempt, it's amazing :)

Just wish it was more of an RPG, like NV.

Glad you enjoyed it. Don't think you can fully appreciate the game rushing through it though. There's loads to this game, I'm on 80h and have barely scratched the surface! Frankly I'm starting to get overwhelmed! lol
You're always going to prefer NV specially having played 1 & 2. A lot of people find it hard going back from NV to 3. But all the fun elements that NV has started here in 3, obsidian added better writing.

The main quest is pretty linear, you can choose the Enclave or BoS, not like in NV where you can choose independent, House, NCR, or Legion. And it's a little bit hard to roleplay as an enclave soldier when they shoot you on sight

Still a great game.

Yeah, that is one of the main let downs in the game. It is a shame that Beth refuses to have well thought out storylines in their games.
They always promise to allow us to play any character we want, this of course is never a realization.
Still, it is not all bad, Beth do support Mods, and they can fix everything!
