collection wont work

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 1:26 am

I just got the collection with the first three. But it wont install. When I put it in nothing happens. It spins for a second the stops, then starts again. Eventually it just gives up and quits spinning.

I just tried it on this computer and found out I need an internet connection, something my game computer doesnt have. Then I realised its rated by PEGI and 16+ so its probably censored. Anyways Im going to order this now.

Do I need internet to install it. And is it censored.

It should work fine for you (the link you posted). And don't worry about the censored business, just go to NMA and get all the patches you need.

I would use NMA but my game computer doesnt have internet. This computer im on does. But my family keeps getting viruses and what not on this one, so I dont want to run the risk of playing on this computer and potentially haveing to restart my game.

Should invest in some anti-virus programs. Also tell whoever is downloading porm to stop it, because that's most likely where the viruses are coming from. That and downloading music (which you should always pay for :stare: :shifty:)

Yeah. Unlike over a decade ago it's actually kind of difficult to get a virus. Like, you'd actually have to really be naive and mucking about some places you really ought not to be.

No excuses for this crap. These games should NOT require an internet connection. I planned on getting this package for Tactics, now I will not.

Do you mean requiring for install?

GOG.com has them, but of course you have to download them with an internet connection. After that, they're fully DRM-free. You can move 'em, play 'em, do with them what you want.

I got it to instal on this computer. But I had to go to run-my computer-DVD drive-Fallout-instal or something. Then it put someting into the run search bar thing (sorry for the terrible descriptions). So I wrote that down and tried it on my game computer. It said insert disc even though it was in. I took it out and tried again, this time imediatley pressing OK. It showed a spinning disc for a while, the said insert disc again. I dont think its my computer because it works on this computer. And I can play other games on my game comp. Any idea why its doing this?

I would buy it from http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/fallout, and download the installers to a flash drive, then take that to your gaming computer. These need no internet connection.
The only reason to buy a boxed set for Fallout is if it actually contains the spiral bound printed manual ~and I if could find that, I'd have already bought it for myself. :chaos:

While you were at it you could download the user patches as well ~it should all fit on most flash drives these days
