I must say, I really like the main goal of the legion. Conquering every tribe, everybody, and everything and making them all the same. No able-bodied man is different (besides rank), no greed within the legion, and no currupt business and organization taking advantage of people.
Also, the legion learns how to survive off the old ways. Technology is not relied on, and the society is moved away from the pre-war society. No tech, no "U.S." military like the NCR, no democracy, ect ect. All the things that lead the old world to its doom. Repeating history would be the downfall of mankind once again. The Legion moves away from that and learns to survive and conquer without tech and so. They don't rely on it, so unlike NCR and others, if their was no tech left at all, they would be uneffected.
I'm sorry my wording seems a little of place. It's hard to explain easily. I'll answer some questions of you ask politely. Please no flaming or "lol I pwn Caeser look at me" or "lol they r stupidz boi skoutz".
Look at the big picture.
Anyways. Those are some of my thoughts. Your opinions?
democracy or representive republics didn't lead to the great war. War did.
Ceaser is just a dictator like any other one. In fact it's Ceaser's way of thinking that lead to the war.
People think Democracy and capitalism is bad. People think Communism is bad.
Very few people understand that niether is bad. Any successful nation needs both.
Medicare is socialism and Communism is democracy. The United State, Canada, the UK, they all have socialized elements and Communist nations vote in there leaders, although there is often a bit of coruption...
As long as people choose and vote, it's all good. making everyone the same is bad, people have to choose how they want to be and who they want in there lives. And they have to respect people that are different from them, even if they choose not to socialize with them.
That's why I don't like Ceaser's legion, nobody has a choice. And there are moral objections to slavery.
