I just got the DLC and I'm wondering what everyone else thinks of it?

Very useful if you are willing to either save your money up, or simply seize the ability to use the additional ammunations in order to increase your performance.

Though the melee weapons are quite nice as well. Got to love greased lightning with a little rushing water & the slayer perk. They never see it coming!

It's really nice; I was just getting used to LR's weapons when BAM ...new toys >;D.
It also gave a use to all the caps people were complaining (I use that lightly) about.

Thanks guys, I started a new play through to mark my return from Skyrim and I have to say seeing all these new weapons really makes New Vegas shine once again! :fallout:

The scope on the AMR isn't an added mod, it comes with the weapon.

wait i meant the silencer, your righ what was i thinking, with the silencer its easier to get a critical shot cause they cant hear your shot

I love Sleepytyme. A silent submachine gun just renders all the pistols obsolete.

Really it adds more variety to the base game if you want it, buffs some older weapons with new mods and stats, gives new ammo types for player choice/more variety. And yeah gives you something to save for, or if your loaded with caps/coins/dollars something to blow it on

So really a weapon pack but a nice one for an open world RPG.

If you're on the PC I'd probably go for the free mods though.

would of liked the chinese assault rifle and some other FO3 guns u can buy a suite in the lucky 38 for the price of a medicine stick

Hmmmm, ya I really do enjoy coming back to this great content after such a shallow run of Skyrim. Fallout will forever hold one of the top game series to me. :laugh:

Dude it brings back a [censored]ier version of the classic Bozar! I mean a Bozar?! What else could you want!
But seriously though there are some really great weapons added by it like that unique ballistic fist and a classic plasma pistol (now named plasma defender thanks to bethesdas lazyness)

The plasma defender was already in the game. GRA made it better and gave it mods to make it look more like the classic plasma pistol.

I like it cuz it adds the medicine stick and allows you to mod some weapons like the AMR and other weapons that could be benificial

I liked that the baseball bat has mods now. Also made a "ninja" character and I'm loving the Katana!

I can't wait to make newer characters that will make use of the other weapons. Looking forward to using Pacencia. How is she in combat anyway?

The Tri Beam Laser rifle is awesome so far, and i'm only at 80 energy weapons skill, and I don't have Laser Commander yet either. I only have the improved condition mod at the moment as well. Going to save up and buy that GRA flamer next.

Overall what I saw of Skyrim I enjoyed.

Other than big level characters New Vegas a lot of times ran into a wall that Skyrim did better in it seemed.

Either way wit people apparently playing Skyrim non-stop for months a change of pace being a fresh air doesn't surprise me.

End of the day I can appreciate both games, even if JE Sawyer brings better and more intellectually defined things on the table.

Plus Fallout 1 > Everything else for me.

I give it a 2.5 out of 5. The additional ammo and mods were nice, but that's coding work and the "potatoes" of why I bought the DLC. The "meat" was the additional weapons, and the recreated weapons like the battle rifle weren't even re-skinned enough to tell a difference between it and the "unique" version. That's my gripe.

Its not bad. For its price its probably about right in terms of content. Its not like someone would be missing out on some awesome aspect if they didn't get it however.

what i think is the battle rifle is my best friend so is my fully modified anti material rifle with its many choices of rounds
