there are alot of patches in game that prevent you from using glitches to get caps. ive heard that you can remove these patches by clearing your cache. im worried however that it will delete some important items like dlc or patches for other games. please help. also if you know any good way of making alot of caps i would be grateful

Use the console if you want to cheat. Easy peasy.

Get a Luck of at least 7. Buy the Naughty Nightwear from Mick at Mick and Ralph's (+1 Luck, 300 caps). Get 5000 caps at the Atomic Wrangler using blackjack. Go to the Strip. Do the same with all the other casinos( play until you are banned) except the Tops, it skips a part of the main quest. You should have more than 30000 caps.

Also, don't forget to bet the max amount, and Double Down whenever you have a total of 10 in your hands. You are almost guaranteed to get an ace or a card worth 10.

Why don't you just kill all the bad guys around the vault 3 area? They respawn quickly and are a good money source from their weapons.
