Really wish I could play with you folks. =/ I'd been looking forward to playing another multiplayer beta for Halo ever since I heard about Reach, and as soon as the beta comes out, I move to a place that's satellite accessible only with 1800 ms latency, and a 500 MG per day bandwidth limit. Hahaha. Lifes fun.

Hehehe. I don't know if I can give it away, its the kind that I have to download from Xbox live in a few hours or so. At least I think that's how it works. With ODST.

It's not just you, there's ALOT of people on the bungie forums freaking out about this. I heard that the servers are only down to those who got the beta from ODST, which doesn't make much sense. I think the servers are down for everyone.

At first i was gunna buy ODST just for this but then i decided to hold back. I already know its gunna be awesome from gameplay vids I saw so why bother? Although i do want a new disc for H3 cus' some of my maps wont load.....

I thought melee was no longer a 1 hit kill, also splintercellftw. So is every name you have ftw, twoworldsftw... That sounds wrong.

Lol, well I mean "for the win" not "[censored] the world" And there is 1 melee kill if your shields are down.

Thats exactly why saying ftw after two worlds is wrong. But the melees seemed pretty powerful.

The servers aren't down or anything, it just takes a while for them to download the playlists and stuff. I guess the number of people playing was larger than they expected or something.

Yup, the backend servers are getting hammered.
