How do you think they will implement vampires in the next Elder Scrolls game? What would you like to see, what abilities and the like?
i would really like to be able to turn certain NPCs into a vampire or a thrall, I would also like to see something where they make it so you are always hideous and take away the stages so when you feed you get stronger. I like the Cyrodiilic vampires they are my favorite, but I would like to see something new rather than destroy the lore like with the Skyrim vampires. I think they should make it so that if you wear a hood, mask, or helmet that hides your face then NPCs won't be able to tell you are a vampire, except for some who might question what you are and attack you.
I'd like to see something of this as well. Except I'd like feeding to make your powers stronger, and be more able to interact with NPCs without detection. Although truth be told I don't really care about 'powers'. Just having unique characteristics that define you as a vampire are enough for me, they don't have to be 'powers'. I also enjoy the weaknesses. Having to be mindful of the time of day and how many days have passed has engaged me more with the game.
I'd also like to see time have an effect. If you've been a vampire for 300 days you'd be slightly stronger than a 'new' vampire. Definitely agree that wearing anything that masks your face should conceal your identity, and for everything, not just vampirism. I liked that vampirism changed your voice as well as your visual appearance, so I think that needs to be addressed as well in terms of staying unrecognized - and I do think the 'blending in with society' element belongs in the game to make vampirism playable if you wish to make being a vampire a viable long term choice. I'm just not sure how best to reconcile the lore in regard to this issue.
Please add at least a vampire faction... Does everyone remember how popular the Dark Brotherhood was in Oblivion? Vincent Valtieri had a lot to do with that. Give us a faction of vampires with vampire-oriented services and vendors, with memorable characters and a dark, secretive atmosphere like a vampire coven you can belong to and I promise it will be the most popular faction of TES VI.
I love the idea of a faction related questline - but I would beg the powers that be to not make vampires cartoonish psychopaths like they did with the DB! I'd like to see sophistication and intrigue.
